PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Line of Business (LoB) Finance at the SAP Innovation Center in Potsdam is a young and dedicated group with the mission to create innovative and potentially breakthrough software solutions for high value, strategic customers, especially in the domain of Finance. To achieve this, we collaborate closely with customers and partners from industry and academia as well as with startups. Our development approach is user-centric, applying different methods (such as Design Thinking, Scrum, Agile Development) within short project cycles.
As part of the LoB Finance team, you will assist the Head of the LoB Finance on a variety of tasks, including calendar, mailbox management and other administrative tasks.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As Personal Assistant for the LoB Finance, you will:
- Support the development and operations team with administrational and organizational activities (e.g. Organization of meetings, Calendar management, Inbox Management)
- Manage Events and related organizational tasks
- Update und maintain data in internal systems where necessary
- Support operations team with budgeting-planning and controlling, such as maintain and monitor purchase orders, invoices and staffing lists; monitor time recording of working students; creation and monitoring of C-User accounts
- Act as contact person for vendors, customers and partners
- Administrational support for local managers
- Ensure smooth office processes
- Tasks and responsibilities are executed on time and with high quality
- Willing to learn and obtain new skills

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Vocational training with work experience as clerk/ assistant
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills to support the team in keeping timelines
- Very good English and German language skills as you will prepare and review mails and documents
- Good knowledge of communication and presentation tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Excellent team player and communicator
- Understanding of Financials/Economics/Computer Science a plus
WORK EXPERIENCE
We are looking for administrative clerks/ assistants, with at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
The position can be also filled as part time position.
