Fund Accounting/Treasury Working Student (part-time) or full-time Internship (6 months) - m/f/d
POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Working Student **(part-time) or full-time Intern (6 months) to join our Fund Accounting/Treasury** team and provide essential administrative support across various operational functions. This role offers exposure to investment operations, compliance processes, and treasury support in a dynamic environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and manage the general inbox, categorize emails, and update control logs
- Ensure completeness of underlying investment data in the network and synchronize files to Egnyte for third-party vendors (e.g., notices, quarterlies, AFS, K1, German tax, investor distributions)
- Review bank wires from various administrators
- Reconcile payment recommendations and verify completeness of investment and invoice activity
- Prepare cash payment support files and reconcile cash movements
- Assist with physical postal letter saving, distribution, and signature collection
- Support archiving activities, review physical folders, and perform completeness checks for German KG entities
- Handle factsheet correspondence and US/German tax compliance email requests.
- Provide support on ad-hoc projects as needed
- Excel expertise: review formulas and assist in automating management fee calculations
- Support Treasury with macro-related tasks
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Currently enrolled in or already completed a Bachelor/Master’s program (Finance, Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, or related field)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macros preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Excellent communication skills in English, proficient German (min. B2)
- Interest in investment operations and compliance processes
