Under the direct supervision of the ERIAC Executive management, the EU Grant Manager is responsible for the correct management and administration of ERIACNET4EU - a large European project focusing on developing actions that support the implementation of the new EU Roma Framework. The Grant manager will be responsible for the overall coordination of the project implementation and its connected activities, timely preparation of the deliverables and milestones, making sure that the project runs timely, smoothly and in high-quality manner. The Grant Manager will also manage the online surface of the project and will be responsible for the final reporting. Furthermore, the EU Grant Manager will support the implementation of other EU-related activities and initiatives. The EU Grant Manager will also contribute to the fundraising activities, identifying fundraising opportunities and submission of project proposals, developed in cooperation with the ERIAC Executive director and the ERIAC Finance manager.
Scope of work:
- Leading the implementation of the project, in particular project activities, and preparation of project deliverables;
- Oversight of the ERIAC re-granting scheme, including launching of the Financial Support for Third Parties (FSTP) and monitoring of future grantees;
- Managing of the EU online Grant Management surface;
- Communication with ERIAC team and departments, all partners, stakeholders and the EU counterparts to ensure smooth development of the projects;
- With the support of ERIAC membership coordinator, cooperation and alignment with the ERIAC membership community, including ERIAC membership and thematic section project-driven activities;
- Ensuring the development of quality outputs and results with optimal monitoring mechanisms, establishing effective coordination within the team, information-sharing and reporting systems;
- Coordinating the development of the project materials and run smooth communication with project contributors;
- Monitoring financial resources and accounting to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial reports;
- Preparing and collecting all documentation, and drafts for grant reporting (invoices, contracts, narrative reports, photo and video documentation, etc);
- Ensuring compliance with the specific EU grant regulations;
- Support of the ERIAC fundraising activities, including by identifying funding opportunities and submission of proposals.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- At least Bachelor’s degree in relevant field including international affairs, cultural studies, European integration, sociology, political studies, marketing and communication, business administration, public administration or related field;
- Proficiency in written and spoken English;
- Knowledge of either Romani and another EU language is an asset;
- Applicants from Roma/Sinti/Traveller background are highly encouraged to apply.
Experiences:
- Minimum of 4 years of international project management experience; European project management is an asset;
- Highly motivated and experienced in working in international settings, and cooperating with diverse stakeholders;
- Previous experience in managing EU grants is a strong asset;
- Experience in managing complex logistics and event planning, online and offline;
- Experience with multi-tasking and working independently on complex administrative tasks;
- Must be comfortable with working with multiple partners and coordinating online;
- Must be comfortable with short deadlines and regular reporting on progress;
- Good understanding of Roma-related policymaking at European level is a strong asset;
- Good team player with strong inter-personal skills who thrives in a multi-cultural environments.

- Gross salary 4500 EUR/ month
