What's the role?

We are looking for a Group Product Manager for the Ads Experience teams within Etsy Ads!

You'll lead teams responsible for the seller-facing experiences that enable our customers to successfully use Etsy Ads, the buyer side experiences that showcase advertised listings at the right time and in compelling ways, resulting in action, and the data used to power those experiences and end-to-end advertising solutions.

As a manager, you'll prioritize supporting the development, growth, autonomy, and success of the team and cultivate a customer oriented, hypothesis driven approach to product development.

As a product leader, you’ll partner with colleagues across Analytics, Design, Engineering, and User Research to build a vision and strategy for evolving our product to better meet the needs of our customers.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Product, Ads. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.

For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub or in the San Francisco Bay Area may be the first to be considered. For candidates within commutable distance, Etsy requires in-office attendance once or twice

• Etsy Ads is used by over one million of our smallest and largest sellers to grow their businesses, and it is one of Etsy’s major revenue streams.

• The overall team works to evolve our ads product across buyer experience, seller solutions, ad relevance, marketplace solutions, and measurement

• We’re passionate about evolving the product to drive more of the outcomes sellers value, sales and shop revenue

What the day-to-day looks like

• Collaborate across functions to develop a product strategy for Ads Experience and realize a roadmap of high-impact customer-centric investments

• Prioritize individualized plans to develop, grow, and engage the PMs on your team

• Support the team rapidly testing and iterating on ideas informed by insights

• Develop relationships and partnerships across teams to deliver more for our customers

Qualities that will help you thrive

• 5+ years of Product Management or comparable experience.

• Experience leading PMs, coaching product skills, and developing the PM careers

• Experience partnering cross-functionally to identify the most meaningful unmet customer needs, and design and build experiences and other solutions that effectively address them

• Highly motivated to help the team work with urgency and creativity to build clarity, resolve blockers, and realize impact

• Committed to learning and growing. You are curious, proactively give feedback to enable the development of others, and are receptive to the gift of feedback
